![]() When I am weary I know that the Lord promises that the Joy of the Lord is my strength, and where do we get this joy? by praying in the Holy Ghost. Living for the Lord has brought both joy and peace. I may not know all of the details as of yet, but I have hope that his plan will unfold in his will in my life. The longer I serve the Lord, the more I want to just focus on doing his will. Was it to just teach me to trust him? or maybe by going through the situation, I could later on have compassion for someone else? I may never know the why. I still do not always understand why the Lord allowed me to go through it. For the situations I have had to face, I accept responsibility, because there are always consequences to our actions. So often I’ve thought that the Lord could have just forgotten me, because after all, I had made so many mistakes on my journey to serve him. For every tear that you have cried over a burden you have had to carry, the Lord has captured your tears in a bottle to save. It is so easy to feel defeated when we aren't walking in the spirit and we don't armor up.My mind is filled with ideas about what I could say to encourage you, reminding you that you are not alone, for one. and remember the rest to obtain the best.' Next time you hear this scripture, pause. For we are unique in all of God's creation as He created us in His image and likeness. ![]() Again, even the angels which were thrown out of heaven (Jude 1:6) cannot say that. We rejoice in that we receive this righteousness, as what other creature (natural, or spiritual) can say, 'I have received my righteousness from God Himself'. 'And their righteousness is from Me' - Another acknowledgement of our lack of ability to obtain righteousness for ourselves (if we could, then we do not need Jesus). But notice the words 'in judgment', meaning at the end times when we ALL have our mistakes aired, so make sure that there is no beam in your own eye (Matt 7:1-5). All of those that have slandered, or caused grief and sorrow by what they have said, you will be able to turn the tables on them, and condemn them. 'And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn' - Now doesn't that just sound great? You will be able to rail against those that have caused you problems in the past. Meaning that you will be able to rely on God's hand to lift you up out of the trouble that you are in, or He will cause the trouble to turn around for good (Rom 8:28). test, trial, tribulation, suffering of any kind), but as we know we are born to the trouble (Job 5:7). We are reminded here that no weapon formed against us will prosper!!! So what do these words actually mean and how can you use this today in whatever battle you are facing!!! We are in a spiritual battle and we must armor up each and every day.
